Current Body of Musical Work and Multi Media

December 24, 2022 Arch Hooks “Bat Sleigh Ride!”
I had written a birthday song for my Mother and gave it to her on her 90th Birthday. She has passed on, but to mark her 100th birthday, I have re-recorded “Mom’s Song”©. Please, feel free to play it for your Mom too!

Arch Hooks music has something for everyone.  Country, Tango, Blues, we could go on & on but suffice it to say there is a Rock’n Roll element to it that makes your head start bouncing.  If you truly love music then Arch would like to take you on a ride, show you some of what is in him…

All of Arch’s music can be found on – Spotify – iTunes – Amazon – CDBaby… Well there are about 250 places online that can sell any and all of Arch’s Music… We encourage you to go to Arch’s YouTube Channel, so you can follow along the Musical Journey path with Arch.

Here or should I say Hear, are some reviews of…

Piano Talk

Back Seat Oracle

chemistry

and most recently… Time for the Wingman, a Music Film with a companion Soundtrack.

Funny story about “Shut the Fu<k Up!” – It’s nickname is #12 – Not hashtag 12 – Number 12!  It got the name from the owner of a bar, who overheard some scream, “Shut the Fu<k Up!” to Arch.  Standing up saying loudly “Who told Arch to “Shut the Fu<k Up!” – Arch’s manager said, “no, no the guy was just requesting Arch’s new song “Shut the Fu<k Up!”…   “Oh, you mean #12 on his CD in the jukebox?”  From that moment on “Shut the Fu<k Up!” has been known as #12!  There are a few choice “#12” stories from the US copyright office, and CD Baby…  but, we’ll tell later if you’re good!

Did you know that each and every song Arch has written is for a reason –

“The Undertaker” from Piano Talk is about driving a “loaded” hearse to Monroe, LA with a friend or “Little Leopard” off of the Back Seat Oracle CD, Arch has seen that a leopard truly never changes its spots or “Bitchzilla” off of chemistry CD…  Well, you can probably guess where this came from!

Bitchzilla! and the 40,000lb. Piano – The lyrics are super simple!

Time for the Wingman’s working title was “Bat Man for a Day”…  It’s about being a hero in your own neighborhood.  Dealing with the complexities of what it takes to be that hero.  Not everyone can recognizes heroic deeds, or see past the facade of someone, to truly understand what makes them tick.  The Time for the Wingman’s is the first of its kind.  A Music Film.  Six vignette’s woven together through music and narrative, to tell a collective story.

Making Time for the Wingman took Arch 2 Years.
